VOLUNTEER @ HUB-A-PALOOZA
Ever been to Hubapalooza? If yes, then you know that it takes quite a bit of “manpower” to keep this event going. The event spans two hills, and sometimes has 5 separate races with 5 starts and 5 finishes all running at the same time – with up to two timers in each position and course marshals on each race course!
This event needs your help!
Some goodies to entice you:
– Event t-shirt! (see below)
– Lunch from CRATE. food truck
– Snacks
– Hugs and high-fives
– Tune up from The Bike Hub!
Descriptions:
Course Marking – putting poles in ground, taping courses, setting flags and signs
Registration – Check in riders, take payments from late registrations
Timers – start or finish timer, using manual timing and RFID timing – simple but important
Course Marshal – communicate with race director and start/finish timers to ensure that all racers make it out, contact medics if there is a rider emergency
