VOLUNTEER @ HUBAPALOOZA 2020
Ever been to Hubapalooza? If yes, then you know that it takes quite a bit of “people-power” to keep this event going. The event spans two hills, and has a lot of racers on course at one time.
This event needs your help!
Some goodies to entice you:
– Breakfast/coffee/lunch! & snacks
– Hugs and high-fives (postponed until 2021)
– Basic tune from The Bike Hub!
Times are listed below on the sign up sheet, and all of the volunteering will happen at Camp Sekani (6707 E Upriver Drive), you would ideally bring a bike and a backpack, and we will rotate through course marshal positions through the day so that nobody has to sit in one place for too long!
Timer – most of our system is automated, but it does need some human supervision. This is a very important role.
Course marshal – keep an eye on things, makes sure that riders make it through the course fine
Medic – there might be some bandaging, or helping injured riders get where they need to go.
Registration – help racers get their packets/number plates and get questions to the appropriate staff member.
